I've installed it but Baghira does not appear in my widget style menu... so all I can get are window decorations. I installed the Mandrake RPM (Im using Mdk 10.0). Anyone have a simple answer for this annoying issue ?

How do I change the progress bar colour? Also is there any chance of having the option of reversing the current flow of the progress bar so that stipples flow from the leading edge to the beginning?
Baghira is progressing nicely too :)

I am going to use this style, whereas
it looks *really* nice - but only as soon as the menus get fixed :)

I mean - "unfolded" menus don't hide as I press a menu "button" of the same menu, which is somewhat uncomfortable at times. Or I overlooked some specialized configuration widget.

greets,
b.

i meantime changed the dcop interface, but (maybe) forgot to update the scripts
read the help page (basically you don't need any complex scripts anymore, the bab starter does everything for you)
e.g.
dcop bab babInterface start "konqueror --profile webbrowsing --caption Safari" 1 2
to start konqueror as safari fake

dcop bab babInterface start "konqueror --profile webbrowsing --caption Safari" 1 2

that's the command line in the script which i use.it works in 0.6,but doesn't work in 0.6a

thanks

It's not really that big of a deal, but I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but how ever many times you try to change the windeco button colors (close, maximize, minimize), they still look washed out compared to Mac OS X's. I know you can't legally rip it, but then again, I doubt this really is legal, either (trademark on interface?). I have an example prepared for you: http://www.fivefiftyone.com/uhoh.png

Don't get me wrong. I love Baghira. I just have a few suggestions I think could really help it out, in order to give it the Apple look. If you'd like to email me, contact me at saint@fivefiftyone.com

Try pressing Default in the colors option, like he said before...... Here's an example of the ones from 0.6. Btw, noone has done a debian package, it's been a few days >.>

Mine are at default. Look at the picture I provided. It's not the color, per se, it's the base image through which the tinting is done.

I've also reported this on your sourceforge bug tracking system. But i think it will get more attention here ;-)

Just look at my baghira themed desktop:
http://test.wolterinkwebdesign.com/snapshotbaghire_bug.png

Do you see the inconsistencies?
In the kicker and the konqueror toolbar the background is not overlapping, looks like each panel/component (i only know java swing gui developing, not much from qt) renders the background, but only the top windows should render the brushed-metal background. Hope you understand me.

I'm using kde 3.3.1 under debian

Include the credits for the baghira logo and also a link to ONExige.com.
If you use this logo respect the terms of the license agreement that you can find at http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=13721

The link should be on the project page.

I don't understand. All you did was use a Photoshop shape and a few effects. I thought Adobe owned the rights to those specific shapes, not you. Can you explain?
(I am talking about the paw logo)

Hi,

Anybody has a theme for Firefox that goes with baghira?

The evolution theme posted in a previous thread is not working yet.

Thanks :)

has anyone here made experience with porting baghira to qt3/win32? you would have to replace the calls to all the kde libs with calls to the corresponding qt files. i am thinking about doing this, but wanted to know whether someone has already tried or at least can provide me with some advice!
thanks

Is it possible to allign the scrollbars directly on the right border of the window? I mean without any 2 extra pixels that prevent me from scrolling just by pushing the mouse to the right and click.

It would make the whole thing more usable

Thanks, Peter.

If you go into "KControl -> Window Decorations -> Buttons" and set "Border Size" to "tiny", it should work (at least for me).

Can you please make a grabber on the bottom-right corner to grab and resize? Or just increase the width of comic border a bit. I really have hard time resizing all windows with Baghira theme. Even with comic frame I sometimes difficulty resizing windows.

Thanks for the great theme :)

If you are using the "Baghira" window decoration, enable "Use Big BottomBar" in the "Common Settings" area of the "Window Decorations" screen. Or you can increase your border width.

I love baghira theme and use it all the time.. I have two questions about scrollbar:

1. The scrollbar is highlighted only when the relevant widget is in focus. I would like it to be highlighted all the time - is there an option for that?

2. Sometimes the widget does not need scrollbar (like the comment box on kde-look.org in which I am typing right now) but the scrollbar is still shown - but only the scrollbar background is shown instead of the full scrollbar occupying the entire scrollbar area.

thanks,
Osho

I suggest that you change the wallpaper in the screenshot. ( You can't show this to your wife ;) ).

I am finding that after making
certain changes to configuration the theme
goes back to brushmetal although it still
shows as being set to Aqua. Going
back and reconfiguring as Aqua fixes
it.

Hi,

Does anyone know if a "brushed metal" firefox style is available anywhere that matches well with baghira?

thanks,
Osho
