Hi, what do you mean make install will not work? What error messages do you get? Have you tried installing a Domino binary instead of building it from the sources?

After I run ./configure in my terminal, an error appeared:

checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

Yeah, that happens. Try this emerald theme instead

http://www.compiz-themes.org/content/show.php/Domino?content=59525

and use emerald as your window decorator.

This theme is very good but I prefer that when maximized the window the borders do not hide. Is it possible?

Thanks!!!

This theme is very good. I was introduced to it using kdemod in archlinux. Overall I only have two complaints. One minor and one rather significant.

The first is the lack of a mouse over effect. I can get use to this.

The big issue, however, is the theme is not friendly to X protocol based remote access. The method I am using is FreeNX. The biggest problem is the toolbar buttons continually redraw themselves.

I would like to help in any way I can to test this. I would be more than happy to provide an account on my home system to log into using the nxclient from nomachine.com to test this.

Hi, i really like this theme but there is one little thing that keeps bugging me in konqueror:

http://img227.imageshack.us/my.php?image=snapshot3uh0.png

Its the colour of the tab bar background, does anyone know how i can change that?

I saw a lot of request to change the color of the progressbar, so i decided to give a little help.

If you download the sources, you can check the file domino/data.h and look for

static const QRgb progressTile_data[] = {

the contents is generated by qembed program, (for info man qembed).

So if you want to change the texture, or just put a color, you can create a png image and then convert it with qembed then replace the hexcodes of that variable with the generated by qembed and then you get a new progressbar

Can you tell me the command to convert the png file to the new one?

the name of the program is qembed.

I think this shows that is always nice to provide the images so one can make some adjustenments instead of redrawing.

Amazing theme. Thank you for solving the problems of one more GUI-agnostic.

One question: How do you get the buttons to respond to mouseover?

Thanks!

Domino>>>>All other Style Themes, but it would be perfect if we could change the "background" of the buttons (so the line between the first gradient and the second would not be just a straight line but changeable, eg round on left&right like some Mac button designs.
I think that would be a nice idea and mabe could be realised.
With background I mean black on Alpha (transparency), and black stands for the line between the gradients, so the background for the actual standard look would be:
Just the shapes of the buttons (round left&right) and a straight horizontal line in the middle)
Can this be done? It would make domino really perfect and timeless.

At first, this is the best KDE style ever! (-:E
One little request: as of v0.4 (@KDE 3.5.7, Gentoo Linux), I'm unable to set main KDE-menu transparent ("The used style doesn't allow transparent menu" or smth alike)
Please consider including this feature in future (I hope there will be) releases!
Anyway thanks for great work!

I'm on gentoo.

I use gtk-engines-qt for unify my gtk qt-3&4 apps .

And with this theme , i can change the background of tooltip , but it's not working for apps in gtk or qt-4(clear gray on black for qt-3 , but clear gray on clear yellow for gtk and black on clear yellow for qt-4 apps)

Can you unify the tooltip background to work properly on gtk and qt-4 apps too pls ?
