Domino menu hack for Beryl shadows

KDE 3.5 Themes

Description:

I couldn't find any solution to make domino go well with Compiz, so I modified the sources (namely domino.cpp and eventsfilter.cpp) to make menus, tooltips and Konqueror popups go well with Compiz shadows. I don't know if there already exists any solution for this problem (if so, please inform me) and I'm no programmer, but as you can see, I managed to modify the code and it seems to work well.

Cheers :)

crazy enough those little modifications took me some hours, cause I had to read through all the code and use "trial and error" to succeed ;)

some basic lessons in Java and C seven years ago, but I still don't know anything else than basics, so that doesn't really count, does it? ;)

always planned to get some more out of it but never found the time and patience :(

I tested it myself and don't experience any problems - can you please download it again?
Which browser did you use?

Same thing happened here. I think the file is an uncompressed tar archive...not a gzip archive as suggested by the .gz extension.

I was able to extract it from the console by doing: tar -xvf 72631-domino-menuhack-0.1.tar.gz

Of course, you could just remove the .gz extension then extract it w/ Ark.

Thanks, it is much better than the original domino with compiz-fusion, the rounded corners used to be black
