Reason for creation
I'm a huge fan of Gina Trapani's todo.txt (http://todotxt.com/) hacks. One of my favorite hacks was the ability to use Samurize (http://lifehacker.com/software/plain-text/download-of-the-day-samurize-189273.php) and GeekTool (http://lifehacker.com/software/top/download-of-the-day--geektool-185802.php) to display your todo.txt on your desktop. However, Samurize only runs on Windows and GeekTool is OS X-only. Therefore, I created a SuperKaramba widget to display your todo.txt.
It displays your todo.txt. No duh ;-)
You can also edit it by clicking on the Kate/KWrite icon in the bottom right corner.
Extract the tar.gz to somewhere like ~/.kde/share/apps/superkaramba/themes/. Then, open up todotxt.theme in a text editor (like Kate or KWrite or emacs or vi or... you get the picture) and change the /home/andrew/todo.txt to the location of your todo.txt. Note that SuperKaramba does not support ~ (otherwise, I would have included it).
[li]Andrew Min (me) for creating the theme[/li]
[li]The Samurize people for inspiring me[/li]
[li]Gina Trapani for the great idea of todo.txt in the first place[/li]
[li]net_efekt for creating the background (original image: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wheatfields/1803278949/).[/li]
[li]Everaldo for the edit icon[/li]
[li]SuperKaramba, because this obviously wouldn't have been possible without them[/li]
[li]God, because without him, I wouldn't be here[/li]
